กองทัพบกชี้แจง กรณีสื่อกัมพูชากล่าวอ้างทหารไทยเปิดฉากโจมตีที่ช่องอานม้าเป็นข่าวปลอม​ ยืนยันไม่มีการใช้อาวุธ พร้อมขอทั้งสองฝ่ายยึดถ้อยแถลง GBC อย่างเคร่งครัด

วันนี้ (20 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569) บัญชีเฟซบุ๊ก TFA/Khmer ซึ่งเป็นสื่อโทรทัศน์เอเชียเสรี ภาคภาษาเขมร เผยแพร่ข่าวด่วน (Breaking News) ระบุว่า ทหารไทยได้เปิดฉากโจมตีที่ตั้งทหารกัมพูชา ในพื้นที่ช่องอานแซะ อำเภอจอมกระสาน จังหวัดพระวิหาร ซึ่งอยู่ตรงข้ามกับช่องอานม้า อำเภอน้ำยืน จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี ส่งผลให้ทหารกัมพูชาได้รับบาดเจ็บ 2 นาย

จากกรณีดังกล่าว พลตรี วินธัย สุวารี โฆษกกองทัพบก ชี้แจงว่า ข้อความดังกล่าวไม่เป็นความจริง และอาจก่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจผิดต่อสถานการณ์ตามแนวชายแดน 

โดยข้อเท็จจริง พบว่า เมื่อวันที่ 20 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 เวลาประมาณ 09.30 นาฬิกา กองทัพภาคที่ 2 ตรวจพบการเพิ่มเติมกำลังของฝ่ายกัมพูชา และมีการเคลื่อนกำลังเข้าใกล้แนวป้องกันตนเองของฝ่ายไทยในพื้นที่ช่องอานม้า อำเภอน้ำยืน จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี ซึ่งฝ่ายไทยได้เฝ้าระวังและแจ้งเตือนให้ทราบด้วยการตะโกนบอกตามมาตรการป้องกันเหตุ โดยไม่มีการใช้อาวุธแต่อย่างใด  

ต่อมาได้รับการแจ้งข่าวจากฝ่ายกัมพูชาผ่านกลไกประสานงานในพื้นที่  ระบุว่าเวลาประมาณ 10.45 นาฬิกา​ได้ยินเสียงปืนจำนวน 5–7 นัด และตรวจพบว่ามีกำลังพลฝ่ายกัมพูชา 1 นาย ได้รับบาดเจ็บจากการถูกยิงบริเวณหัวเข่า

ซึ่งทางฝ่ายไทยได้ติดต่อประสานงานกลับ โดยยืนยันว่าฝ่ายไทยไม่มีการใช้อาวุธ​แต่อย่างใด พร้อมขอให้

ทุกฝ่ายยึดถือตามถ้อยแถลงของคณะกรรมาธิการเขตแดนทั่วไป (General Border Committee : GBC) โดยเฉพาะการอยู่ภายในพื้นที่ควบคุมของแต่ละฝ่ายภายหลังการหยุดยิง เพื่อป้องกันความเข้าใจผิดและรักษาบรรยากาศความมั่นคงตามแนวชายแดน

กองทัพบกยืนยันว่า ฝ่ายไทยปฏิบัติตามข้อตกลงและหลักการทางทหารอย่างเคร่งครัด 

ทั้งนี้ขอความร่วมมือจากสื่อมวลชนและประชาชนในการตรวจสอบข้อมูลจากแหล่งข่าวที่เป็นทางการก่อนเผยแพร่ เพื่อป้องกันการขยายผลของข้อมูลที่คลาดเคลื่อน ซึ่งอาจส่งผลกระทบต่อความมั่นคง ความสงบเรียบร้อยระหว่างประเทศ

The Royal Thai Army Denies Cambodian Media Claim of Attack at Chong An Ma, Confirms No Weapons Used, Urges Strict Adherence to GBC Statements
On February 20, 2026, the Facebook account TFA/Khmer, which is part of Free Asia Television in the Khmer language, published breaking news claiming that Thai soldiers had launched an attack on Cambodian military positions in the Chong An Sae area, Chom Kasan District, Preah Vihear Province, opposite Chong An Ma, Nam Yuen District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The report stated that two Cambodian soldiers were injured.
In response, Major General Winthai Suvaree, Army spokesperson, clarified that the report was false and could cause misunderstandings about the border situation.
The facts are as follows: On February 20, 2026, at around 9:30 a.m., the 2nd Army Area observed Cambodian forces reinforcing their troops and moving closer to Thailand’s defensive line in the Chong An Ma area, Nam Yuen District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The Thai side monitored the situation and issued warnings by shouting, in accordance with preventive measures, without using any weapons.
Later, at around 10:45 a.m., Cambodian authorities reported through local coordination mechanisms that they had heard 5–7 gunshots and found one Cambodian soldier injured in the knee from gunfire.
The Thai side responded by confirming that no weapons had been used by Thai forces and urged all parties to adhere to the statements of the General Border Committee (GBC), particularly the requirement to remain within each side’s designated control areas after the ceasefire, in order to prevent misunderstandings and maintain stability along the border.
The Royal Thai Army reaffirmed that Thailand strictly abides by agreements and military principles. It also requested cooperation from the media and the public to verify information with official sources before dissemination, to prevent the spread of inaccurate reports that could affect security and international relations.
