“Thailand Gallery” ณ กรุงเฮก: พื้นที่แห่งอัตลักษณ์ไทยสู่เวทีโลก

เมื่อวันที่ ๘ เมษายน ๒๕๖๙ สมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอ เจ้าฟ้าสิริวัณวรีนารีรัตน์ราชกัญญา เสด็จเป็นองค์ประธานในพิธีเปิด 
“Thailand Gallery” ณ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก โดยมีคณะทูตานุทูต ผู้แทนองค์การระหว่างประเทศ บุคคลสำคัญ ในวงการออกแบบ และผู้บริหารภาคเอกชนทั้งไทยและเนเธอร์แลนด์เข้าร่วม
“Thailand Gallery” เป็นโครงการภายใต้ความริเริ่มของสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ในการพัฒนาพื้นที่จัดแสดงต้นแบบที่สะท้อนอัตลักษณ์และศักยภาพของไทย ผ่านแนวคิด “ความทันสมัย ความยั่งยืน และภูมิปัญญาอันสร้างสรรค์” โดยนำเสนอผลงานศิลปหัตถกรรม งานศิลป์ชั้นครู และนวัตกรรมร่วมสมัยของไทย ผ่านการจัดแสดงทั้งในรูปแบบ physical และ digital

โครงการนี้เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ กับ Eichholtz บริษัทไลฟ์สไตล์ระดับโลกของเนเธอร์แลนด์ ในการพัฒนาเฟอร์นิเจอร์คอลเลคชั่นพิเศษจากผ้าไทย ภายใต้โครงการตามแนวพระดำริในการพัฒนาผ้าไทยและเศรษฐกิจชุมชน “ดอนกอยโมเดล” สะท้อนการผสานภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นเข้ากับการออกแบบระดับสากล การดำเนินโครงการ Thailand Gallery เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐและภาคเอกชน โดยมีพันธมิตรสำคัญจากภาคเอกชนไทยและเนเธอร์แลนด์ ได้แก่ บริษัท Quattro Design บริษัท Asset World Corporation บริษัท Sappe บริษัท Seavalue ธนาคารกรุงเทพ และห้างสรรพสินค้า De Bijenkorf

พื้นที่จัดแสดงประกอบด้วย ๓ ห้องหลัก ได้แก่ ห้อง Rose Room ห้อง Queen’s Room และห้อง Gallery ซึ่งสะท้อนแรงบันดาลใจที่แตกต่างกัน ห้อง Rose Room ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากสีประจำพระองค์ของสมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอ เจ้าฟ้าสิริวัณวรี   นารีรัตน์ราชกัญญา  โดยนำผ้าทอ “ดอนกอย” มาผสานลวดลายอย่างสร้างสรรค์เป็นเฟอร์นิเจอร์ร่วมสมัย ห้อง Queen’s Room จัดแสดงเพื่อเทิดพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ถ่ายทอดความงดงามเหนือกาลเวลาผ่านโทนสีฟ้าและสีเหลือง ขณะที่ห้อง Gallery เป็นพื้นที่สร้างสรรค์สำหรับจัดแสดงผลงานศิลปะและหัตถศิลป์จากช่างฝีมือชั้นนำของไทย พร้อมระบบ digital display เพื่อมอบประสบการณ์และองค์ความรู้ในรูปแบบร่วมสมัย

นอกจากนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ยังได้นำชุดไทย งานหัตถศิลป์ และผลงานจาก Thailand Gallery ไปจัดแสดงในรูปแบบ window display ณ ห้างสรรพสินค้า De Bijenkorf ใจกลางกรุงอัมสเตอร์ดัม เพื่อถ่ายทอดมรดกวัฒนธรรมไทยในบริบทร่วมสมัยสู่สายตาสาธารณชนเนเธอร์แลนด์และนานาชาติ โดยได้รับความสนใจอย่างกว้างขวาง และนับเป็นจุดหมายสำคัญ (landmark) ด้านการประชาสัมพันธ์อัตลักษณ์ไทยในเนเธอร์แลนด์
Thailand Gallery นับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญของการทูตวัฒนธรรมไทยในการยกระดับผ้าไทย งานศิลป์และหัตถรรมไทย เชื่อมโยงอัตลักษณ์ วัฒนธรรม และความคิดสร้างสรรค์ของไทยสู่เวทีโลก พร้อมเปิดโอกาสใหม่ทางเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์อย่างยั่งยืน

“Thailand Gallery” in The Hague: Showcasing Thai Identity on the Global Stage
On 8 April 2026, Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya graciously presided over the opening of “Thailand Gallery” at the Royal Thai Embassy in The Hague. The event was attended by members of the diplomatic corps,  representatives of international organizations, leading figures from the design community and senior executives from both Thai and Dutch private sectors.
“Thailand Gallery” is an initiative of the Royal Thai Embassy in The Hague, conceived as a prototype exhibition space that reflects Thailand’s identity and excellence through the themes of modernity, sustainability, and creative heritage. The Gallery presents master craftsmanship, fine arts, and contemporary innovations from Thailand through a combination of physical and digital displays.
This initiative is realized in collaboration with Eichholtz, a globally renowned Dutch lifestyle brand, which has developed a special furniture collection using Thai textiles under the royal initiative to promote Thai fabrics and community-based economies through the “Don Koi Model.” This collaboration exemplifies the fusion of local wisdom with global design. The project is driven as a public-private partnership, from Quattro Design as a curator, Asset World Corporation, Sappe, Seavalue, Bangkok Bank and De Bijenkorf 
The exhibition space is composed of three main rooms—Rose Room, Queen’s Room, and the Gallery—each with a distinct narrative. The Rose Room draws inspiration from the royal colour of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, featuring bespoke furniture crafted from “Don Koi” textiles, where multiple traditional patterns are seamlessly combined into contemporary designs. 
The Queen’s Room pays tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, reflecting timeless elegance through the classic royal color combination of blue and yellow. The Gallery serves as a creative platform showcasing works by Thailand’s leading artisans, enhanced with digital displays that offer immersive experiences and knowledge of Thai cultural heritage.
In addition, selected elements from Thailand Gallery—including Chud Thai (Thai national costumes), furniture, and artisanal works—are featured in a window display at De Bijenkorf Amsterdam, located in the heart of Amsterdam. The installation presents Thai cultural heritage in a contemporary context to Dutch and international audiences, attracting wide public interest and serving as a landmark platform for promoting Thailand’s cultural identity in the Netherlands.
Thailand Gallery represents a significant milestone in Thailand’s cultural diplomacy, by connecting its heritage, creativity, and innovation with the global stage, while opening new opportunities within the creative economy.
